I am a Clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience in the NHS, as well as working in private practice. I have worked in a range of community settings with adults, community teams, and hospitals. I have been involved in developing and leading services in these settings. I also have extensive experience in supervising teams and groups within the NHS and within Education.<\/p>\n
Following my professional qualifications, I have undertaken further courses in psychotherapy, trauma and group psychotherapy and training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mentalization based therapy (MBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR).<\/p>\n
I am particularly interested in the impact of developmental trauma on emotional and physical well being. I work with a number of therapeutic approaches including trauma focused therapy, attachment based therapies, Mindfulness, EMDR and CBT.<\/p>\n
My special interests, in addition to trauma, include working with depression, anxiety and work related stress and organisational conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n
