We offer assessment sessions of an hour, during which we will spend time exploring the difficulties or issues that have brought you to seek therapy. We will also spend some time exploring your background, which can help to make sense of what is happening now. It is often helpful to meet more than once to complete the process. This also allows some time for both of us to reflect on the previous session.

Following the assessment, we will decide together whether or not psychological therapy will be helpful for you. If we do not feel that it will be helpful, we will discuss together alternative ways forward.
