I am passionate about working with women and couples in the perinatal period-from preconception, pregnancy through to the early years of parenthood. Alongside this, working with women who are experiencing infertility or who have experienced loss. I am experienced in working with women with tokophobia (fear of childbirth), birth trauma, childhood abuse/trauma impacting on current pregnancy or parenting, postpartum psychosis, perinatal OCD, anxiety, depression and EUPD, amongst others.

I also work with any adults who have been experiencing mental health difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, OCD, childhood trauma amongst others.

I draw upon a range of therapeutic models according to an individual’s difficulties, what they wish to focus on or what they would like to change.  I offer a period of initial assessment which explores current difficulties and considers contextual and background factors which may be influencing these current issues. I then use a formulation to draw together all the information from the assessment and provide a framework to understand how difficulties may have developed and how they are being maintained.  From the formulation, it often becomes clear as to the model of therapeutic intervention that may be most helpful. I work integratively according to the needs of the client, drawing from psychological models such as Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye movement Desensitisation Therapy (EMDR), systemic, concepts from psychodynamic psychotherapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)-a more relational based therapy.

I offer 1:1 work and couple’s therapy sessions.
